APPLICATIONS: 100% synthetic "Fuel Economy" motor oil specially formulated for petrol and diesel engines, turbo or atmospheric, indirect or direct injection, designed to use Fuel Economy oils, with low friction and HTHS (High Temperature High Shear) viscosity. Recommended for all types of petrol and diesel engines where a "Fuel Economy" is required: ACEA A1/B1 or A5/B5 standards. Compatible with post catalytic systems. Recommended for all types of fuels: Leaded or unleaded petrol, Ethanol, LPG, Diesel, and bio-fuels. Certain engines cannot use this type of lubricant. The ACEA A5/B5 standard requires the lubricant to perform in terms of fuel economy and low pollutant emissions. MOTUL 8100 Eco-nergy 5W-30 oil contains a 100% synthetic base oil and a specific friction modifier allowing to obtain a very resistant film, to reduce the internal friction of the engine, as well as to maintain the oil pressure and to reduce the general operating temperature of the engine. MOTUL 8100 Eco-nergy 5W-30 is particularly resistant to high temperatures to allow a better control of oil consumption and a reduction of wear thanks to its excellent lubricating properties, all while providing a fuel economy of up to 10% in the starting phases and urban journeys (compared to the reference 15W-40 oil). This type of oil helps to reduce fuel consumption, while at the same time reducing greenhouse gas emissions (CO2) for greater environmental protection. Specially designed to meet the technical requirements of recent FORD petrol and diesel engines where a lubricant has to meet the FORD WSS M2C 913C or 913D standard. The FORD "913D" standard is fully compatible and covers all previous standards 913A, 913B and 913C. FORD standard "913C" corresponds in equivalence to JLR standard "03.5003" covers certain JAGUAR and LAND ROVER petrol and diesel engines. ACEA A5/B5 standard, MOTUL 8100 Eco-nergy 5W-30 provides real fuel economy performance (up to 3% fuel economy) in order to meet FORD's CO2 reduction requirements. The 913D specification also requires the lubricant to have increased shear strength to ensure stable viscosity throughout the service interval. This property is primarily in the context of developments in the use of biofuels such as biodiesel. MOTUL 8100 Eco-nergy 5W-30 guarantees maximum wear protection for use with biodiesel up to 7% (Biodiesel - B7). The FORD 913D specification includes a higher residue control capability for combustion residues than the 913C standard. Thanks to its unique dispersant properties, MOTUL 8100 Eco-nergy 5W-30 prevents the formation of black sludge and the increase in viscosity caused by fouling. Resistance to high temperatures and oxidation is ensured throughout the life cycle of the lubricant while keeping the engine protected. The Renault RN0700 specification requires lubricants to respond to very severe thermal conditions and to be compatible with RENAULT after-treatment systems. The Renault RN0700 standard is notably applied to all naturally aspirated petrol engines (except Renault Sport) of the RENAULT group (Renault, Dacia, Samsung). The RN0700 standard is also applied to RENAULT diesel models equipped with 1.5L dCi engines without FAP (Particulate Filter) where the power is less than 100 hp and with maintenance intervals of 20,000 km or 1 year.
RECOMMENDATIONS : Maintenance: As recommended by the manufacturer and adapted to its own use. MOTUL 8100 Eco-nergy 5W-30 can be mixed with synthetic or mineral oils. Certain engines are not able to use this type of lubricants. Before use, check the vehicle's manual.
