APPLICATIONS: For all brake and clutch hydraulic systems where a non-silicone synthetic fluid is recommended. Specially designed to withstand the high temperatures of racing brake hydraulics (steel or carbon) and clutches. Exceeds DOT 3 and DOT 5.1 standards, except for viscosity at -40°C / -40°F.

PERFORMANCE: FMVSS 116 DOT 4 and SAE J1703. Extreme thermal stability and resistance: The very high boiling point of MOTUL RBF 660 FACTORY LINE (328 °C/622 °F) is higher than that of conventional DOT 5.1 (260 °C/500 °F mini) and DOT 4 (230 °C/446 °F mini) brake fluids and therefore offers efficient braking even under extreme conditions. Provides improved aerodynamic performance by reducing air intake for brake cooling in vehicles. Efficient in wet conditions: The very high wet boiling point of MOTUL RBF 660 FACTORY LINE (204 °C/399 °F) is higher than that of conventional non-silicone based DOT 5.1 (180 °C/356 °F mini) and DOT 4 (155 °C/311 °F mini) brake fluids and therefore maintains braking efficiency under wet conditions. Brake fluids tend to absorb moisture from the air, which lowers the boiling point and increases the risk of "vapour lock". The wet boiling point is measured by humidifying the product with 3% water.

RECOMMENDATIONS | Avoid mixing with lower performance poly glycol based brake fluids. Do not mix with mineral based fluids (LHM) or silicone (DOT 5). Aggressive chemical product with hands, paints and varnishes. In case of contact with skin, wash with plenty of water.
